Florida Psychological Specialists, LLC offers clinical and consultative services for individuals across the lifespan with specialization in evaluation from infancy through adolescence. Services are provided with great attention to quality and integrity. Some of the clinical and consultative services we offer are described below.
Clinical Services
Dr. Bennett provides psychological, developmental, and neuropsychological evaluation to assist with differential diagnosis from infancy through adulthood. She has specialized training and experience using the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) in conjunction with other assessment measures for diagnostic clarification of suspected Autism Spectrum Disorder. Dr. Bennett also provides evaluation to assess intellectual functioning, achievement, learning disability, executive functioning, attention, memory, mood, and behavior. Treatment services include child, adolescent, and adult psychotherapy; family and couples therapy; and assisting with behavioral plans and behavioral management and parenting support.
Clinical Supervision
Dr. Bennett contracts with mental health providers, treatment agencies, and graduate training programs to provide clinical supervision and assistance with program development. She is a "Qualified Supervisor" in the state of Florida.
Consultation/Professional Training
Dr. Bennett offers clinical consultation for providers and agencies. Consultative services include training, program development, and providing clinical evaluation within multidisciplinary teams. She provides ongoing consultation for behavioral health agencies and other institutions in the development of autism spectrum diagnostic and treatment programs, other psychological evaluation, and treatment services.
Family Mediation
Dr. Bennett is certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Family Mediator and specializes in issues related to child placement.
Presentations
Upon request, Dr. Bennett provides presentations related to areas of specialization. She has presented across the state on topics including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Parental Alienation Syndrome, Reactive Attachment Disorder, and Nonverbal Learning Disorder.
